Interviewing

I participated in my first academic job interview from the other side of the table yesterday. I thoroughly enjoyed it, probably because the pressure wasn't on me. I am sitting on the search committee for a new instructional services librarian here at Southern Virginia University. I am the faculty representative, which I take very seriously. I also take seriously the role the library and its staff play in a university. We are in the process of interviewing three candidates, who look very good. This is going to be a tough choice.
