Who is the Real You?

We just finished watching the second episode of a new series on TNT, Perception. It's a great show that, so far, always ends with a nice summation: the main character in front of his students in a university classroom. The title of this post was a question he posed, suggesting that there is a set of different neural-pathways in our brains that makes up the person we are. He essentially referred to it as the biological version of Walt Whitman's "I contain multitudes." So who are you? Are you the religious man or woman people see at church every week? Are you the weekend warrior who loves the outdoors? Does your work define you, or do you define your work? Just some deep thoughts to take me to bed.
