We hit Charlottesville today because that's where our closest Whole Foods is located. We are determined to stock up on a greater variety of organic foods, especially produce. This is harder to do around here in the winter because there is no local produce, which we usually buy at the local farmers' markets. So, while we are unable to stock up at said markets, we have decided to travel a couple times a month to a store that can provide a greater variety and also some better prices because of their buying power. It was a good drive, and Charlottesville seems like a fun town. Anyway, we got a great haul that should get us through the next couple of weeks. So far, it seems like a success.
In other news, it looks like Whitney Houston has died. I've got to say, while it is sad, as it is when anyone dies young, or younger than one would expect, I am not terribly surprised. Hopefully, she has found some peace.
