Democracy?

My wife composed an excellent blog post today, and it speaks directly to one of the biggest problems we currently face in this country. Our government is not listening to us. Our democracy was established to give the people direct control of the government, to make our voice heard so that those who represent us will make the decisions we voted them into office to make.
