1000 Faces

I have been reading some Joseph Campbell the last few days, as it is the first thing we will discuss in the Heroes and Villains course. I haven't read his work in some time, and I am really enjoying it. It's amazing how well he shows the interconnected-ness of all mythologies, especially the hero's journey. It's always amazing to return to something you haven't read in years and see so much more because of the experiences you have had, including texts you have read or films you have seen. The world is far more connected than most of us realize, and nothing shows that connection better than literature and mythology. Go on, pick up a book, and make a connection.
