Birthdays

Today is my sister Jennifer's birthday. She turned 37. That means I will turn 36 in two days. For two days, Jennifer is 2 years older than I am. I am just glad my birthday did not fall on Mother's Day this year. Jennifer actually likes to have her birthday fall on Mother's Day. I can't stand it because it takes away from the celebration of my glorious birth. Perhaps I am selfish, but please do not think that I am inconsiderate of mothers, and please don't think that I believe everyone should consider my birth a grand event. I am just extremely grateful for the life with which God has blessed me, so my glorious birth is my glorying in that which God has given me. May we all remember the true giver of our lives.
