Food and Travel

When we travel, it's all about the food. Sometimes, we travel just for some good food. We did that today. We rolled into Roanoke today for some lunch at Nawab, some of the best Indian food we have had in a restaurant. We also had the opportunity to check out a cupcake place (we're all about good cupcakes). Bubblecake knows how to do cupcakes insomuch as they heap a mound of frosting, and sometimes other goodies, on top. And the array of flavors/specialty cupcakes blows the mind. In the same building, they house a frozen custard place, too. That will be for the next trip. We really wanted to do something else, museum or something, but Thing 1 was not having a good day. Ornery, though a totally weird word, is the only way to describe his behavior.   I will continue food updates in the future. I love to spread the word on good eats.
