A Follow-Up

The following link provides some interesting data as a follow up to a few of the things I said in yesterday's post. Keep in mind that this is the report on global competitiveness, so there are many factors that it will not reveal in total, at least not in the summaries. However, there is plenty mentioned in what I read about the education in some Scandinavian countries. For example, "Finland's educational system is also impressive; the WEF asserts that the country has the planet's best primary education, and the second-best math and science programs in higher education." That is a state-run education system, including higher education, universities that Finnish citizens attend for free.
