Rise

Leah Marie and I finally had the opportunity to watch Rise of the Planet of the Apes tonight, and I was impressed. The story telling, even from the apes' side, was compelling, and Andy Serkis, as usual, turned in another amazing performance-capture performance, this time as Caesar, the chimpanzee. While there were fine performances all around, and the story is character driven to a degree by Caesar, the plot turns in the best performance here. It pushes forward with few wasted moments. I highly recommend it.
