Flip Men

I mentioned this briefly in a post last night, but I need to give it a little more space. This is a fun show, especially for us right now, for a lot of reasons. First, one of the guys is a BYU graduate, and his partner in these flips is a big burly dude with whom he gets along with famously: they act like close brothers. It is so much fun to watch their interactions with each other. It's cool to see the way they take houses, some which they buy site unseen, and many which take disastrous turns, and flip them in to eye-popping, beautiful homes, which they sell quickly. Finally, it makes me think about the house we are buying (the close is, supposedly, very close, but I don't want to jinx it). This house was flipped. We have had a lot of conversations with the seller and neighbors about the previous condition of this house, but to see it now, after the horror stories, is amazing, especially after all the dumps we looked at in the same price range before we found this one. There is nothing like moving into a house that needs no work. That is what makes the Flip Men so successful, and that is what makes the show a lot of fun to watch, not to mention the crazy encounters they often have, from dogs to squatters and from electrical fires to meth labs. They are never short on good times.
