It Is and It Isn't

There is something uneasy about living in a house that is your . . . but it isn't yours. The seller has often said, "As far as I'm concerned, it's your house." In fact, he has said that from the day we signed the original agreement to buy, now over 60 days ago. The problem is that the house is not ours. While we live for a couple more weeks rent free, awaiting our fate, the constant worry, always in the back of mind mind, is that the house may never actually be ours. Perhaps that has played a part in my inability to focus sufficiently on anything else these days: work, church calling, blogging, etc. Hopefully, I will be ranting about something very soon.
